Aw Shucks! Corn Maze
|
Aw Shucks! is a fun destination for all ages with something to offer for everyone from Pumpkins and Hayrides to getting lost in a field of "corn"fusion. Unique features include an Old Fashioned General Store and an unusual Pumpkin House. Special events are always happening at Aw Shucks!
Nestled in the farm belt of eastern Union County near Marshville, NC, Aw Shucks! Corn Maze is located on a real working family farm of about three hundred acres. Aw Shucks! itself covers over ten of those acres, providing plenty of space for groups large and small.
From Charlotte, NC, take Highway 74 East through Monroe to Wingate. Pass Wingate University on the left and continue about 1 mile. Turn right on Forest Hills School Road (at the light). Go about 1 mile. Aw Shucks! is on the right.
Aw Shucks can be rented off-season and is a great place for an outdoor party! Field trips and corporate teambuilding groups are always welcome. Call 704-517-5622 for information or to make reservations.

Black Swan Farm "Field Trips" is a friendly family farm educational program. The sights and sounds of the many animals, an assortment of old tools and equipment along with a wonderful produce garden, offers the chance to visit a farm of yesteryear. The old family farm experience is pleasant for adults, exciting for youth and interesting, educational, and enjoyable for all.
Field trips and group tours can be scheduled in the Spring, Summer, or Fall Seasons.
The farm is located just 25 minutes southeast from I 485 and Providence Road and 10 minutes from downtown Monroe off Hwy 200 S.
